Objective: to acutely inquire and describe the possibilities that emerge from the cooperative learning as a didactic strategy used in class. Methodology: qualitative research integrating ethnographic observation, semi-structured interviews with video and audio recordings, and a discourse analysis. Findings: the cooperative learning in an exclusive-women setting as the population analyzed in this research, overcomes traditional paradigms of females’ rivalry and makes possible certain alliance among women. In addition to this, there is evidence of important formative findings in the cognitive, social, civic culture and sorority aspects, redirecting the evaluative fact and providing the means of an authentic exercise of civic culture. Conclusions: the cooperative learning promotes a real inclusive education, given that it proposes the favorable use of the differences among students in order to achieve further learning.
