THE EDUCABILITY: DYNAMICS OF ITS IMAGINARIES FROM THE SOCIAL COORDINATES IN THE MASTER’S DEGREE IN EDUCATION AT UNIVERSIDAD DE CALDAS

Objective: to show the dynamics of the social imaginaries that the students of the Master’s Degree in Education at Caldas University configure during their training process and in the field of their pedagogical practice, as a result of a larger study that searched the social imaginaries of the teachers in training process in Manizales city. Methodology: the study followed a design from the complementarity, supported in the method of social coordinates for its interpretation. Findings: It is shown between their main emergencies that the social imaginaries in the students who take part in the Master’s programs are configured widely from what is established as normal, although some reflection processes are outlined upon the practices that push some social coordinates to a transformation. Conclusions: it is necessary that the Master’s programs work greatly in the critical/reflective construction of their processes to make possible significant transformations in the social imaginaries of the teachers in training process.
