Objective: to understand the relation between religious beliefs of primary school students, and the curriculum design for school religious education in Cauca department. Methodology: ethnographic process to recognize the religious beliefs present in the classroom and the possibility of including them in the formative proposal for Religion class. Conclusion: the role of the teacher is to guide and interact with the surroundings related to religious knowledge.
