Objective: to develop a model of continuous, progressive, educational and recreational assessment in the area of technology and informatics from the perspective of transforming the traditional assessment strategies used with third and fifth grade elementary school students as well as the ones from sixth grade of secondary school. Methodology: assessment research with qualitative approach. Findings: it is possible to assess the learning processes from various different strategies considering a recreational, progressive assessment. Conclusions: the presentation of this type of assessment in school contexts convene teachers to interrupt the linearity of this process. The model supported on the principles of educational, continuous, recreational and progressive assessment, favors the knowledge acquisition on students of the area of technology and informatics.
