VIRTUAL INDIVIDUALS, REAL VIOLENCES: A CRITICAL PERSPECTIVE OF THE CYBERBULLYING PHENOMENON

The present reflexive article goes over a path of understanding that involves the individual, virtuality and cyber bullying in a structural framework that admits the postmodern context. Objective: to give a critical perspective of the development and evolution of cyber bullying showing how the studies have been centered in the school, childhood and adolescence. Methodology: Qualitative research with hermeneutic approach. Conclusions: reflects on the need to include studies with new populations such as the university, that is not exempt from that kind of problems, and some implications of the virtuality on the subject in the contemporary educative reality are discussed.
