Objective: to reconstruct participatively some experiences in which a practical knowledge emerges and that supports the political action and the discourses of groups and organizations that work for the defense of the Pacific region. Methodology: systematization of experiences. Conclusions: reflections that start with the recognition of knowledge derived from the experiences that black communities have built in the Pacific region in Colombia, in the framework of their territorial appropriation and their different conceptions of the good living.
