RELIGION TEACHABILITY/ EDUCABILITY, RELIGIOUS PLURALISM AND PEACE: COMPREHENSIONS IN SCHOOL CONTEXTS FROM MANIZALES

Objective: to analyze the impact of religion in attitudes of peace or violence in school students and teachers who belong to high schools in Manizales. Methodology: mixed-approach methodology through which the state of arts in Caldas was developed. A survey was applied to school students and teachers were interviewed. Results: religion class aims for the respect towards religions. The formation for peace is a topic related to any subject. Students and teachers consider that even though there are religious conflicts, the religion promotes the creation of peace. Conclusions: conciliating actions must be promoted from the education based on conflicts, in order to identify the otherness and proceed to the construction of peace.
