IDENTIFYING COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCES IN THE PROCESSES OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Objetive: to identify the level of communicative competence in students at a technical level of higher education. Metodology: qualitative method with an evaluative component, which characterizes the levels of competence in students taking the first semester of the technical cycle through data verification and assessment regarding the subject of this research. There was a purposeful selection of the research population, and the process was developed with different control groups. Findings: there is a clear need to work on this issue during the first semester of higher education, in order to generate strategies that strengthen the communicative skills. Conclusions: the development of communicative competences represents a fundamental component within the processes of higher education, which should be specifically addressed through different strategies that allow the practice of these skills in the multiple educational scenarios.
