PUBLIC POLICIES GUIDELINES FOR THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION AT AN ADVANCED EDUCATION LEVEL

Objective: to reveal how the research educational processes from the Master in Education Program at Caldas University contribute to the design of public sectorial policies guidelines with the purpose of improving the quality of the program. Methodology: complementarity approach, which uses methods of research such as study case, reflexive ethnography and grounded theory, which means that the processing and analysis of the information was done by means of an axial and selective categorization. Findings: the adoption of public policies guidelines from the National Ministry of Education, corresponding to the consolidation of research groups made by the master program students, the development of social impact activities in different schools and the leverage of resources for the postgraduate education. Conclusions: the processes of the research developed at the program have an impact in the quality of education.
