In this article we propose to reflect on the importance of learning environments in the formation of the individual, through some questions that deserve to be addressed in order to understand its meaning. This discussion is divided into four stages: the first, realizes what the environment has meant and means in the context; the second, establishes between its lines the word “learning”; the third, reveals the significance of learning environments in the stage of education; and fourth, invites the teacher to question him/herself about the challenges of designing learning environments based on virtual and digital classrooms.
