In the article, some of the theoretical debates from which has been setting a kind of de-colonial wisdom are discussed. It is also proposed a way of understanding memory and history from the knowledge located in those “other” voices, subaltern or marginal to the dominant power in society, calling for the de-colonization of the stories of war. The text offers a critique view of the issue of reconstruction of “other” memories, or unofficial memoirs, which made part of the internal armed conflict and that due to the condition of individuals who possess, they have been invisible for those seeking to claim as interpreters or exclusive spokesmen of our violent past.
