TOWARDS A CURRICULUM FOR THE POLITICAL FORMATION AND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PEACE IN COLOMBIA

This paper states a theoretical commitment to present the foundations that should be considered for the structuration of a curriculum proposal that pursues the political formation and the construction of peace in Colombia. Initially, the conceptual differences that exist among the curriculum theories and their rhetoric are analyzed with the purpose of determine which of both methods appears more suitable to achieve the purpose stated before. Afterwards, a criticism about the conventional manner to structure curricula from hegemonic powers is made. And the importance of involving the experiences gained by the internal military conflict survivors in the structuration of curriculum proposals for the political education and the construction of peace, is highlighted as a contribution that allows the leverage of the legal and curricular development proposed for the national government for the alleged Chair for Peace.
