Objective: to contribute to the learning evaluation processes in high school education based on the use of infographs. Methodology: a qualitative, exploratory research that related three elements, which were found not related in the existent literature (multimodality, infographs and evaluation). It was a research of interpretative nature with a flexible process in the gathering and analysis of the information where 21 students from 10th grade and the computer and technology teacher from the educational institution participated. Results: When working with students, it was possible to identify methodological and infrastructural conditions that allow establishing working scenarios appropriate to subscribe the use of infographs to the process of learning assessment. Conclusions: the conditions for the use of infographs in the learning assessment positively influenced the development of all of the activities of the students and served as a guide to the implementation of the proposal with the right elements for this purpose.
